RESTLESS VENTURES
Rodrigo was born in Venezuela, bred and raised in Lisboa in international schools. Part of Lions International from the age of 17-27. Specialist in Branding, Strategic Creativity, Co-Creation and Business Development he participated in creating several success brands in Brandia Central and then his own Once Upon a Brand founded in 2008 and followed by TORKE CC in the last 7 years where he was CEO.
Through the holding company Billy The Group - part owner of TORKE CC - he was also non-executive partner in Stunt Soccer (a sports deal-making company), Beta-i (an innovation consultancy firm with a strong connection to the start-up scene) and former companies such as Mustard (production and activation agency) and Couture (a research people-centered innovation company).
University teacher of marketing and branding, entrepreneur for over 14 years he specialized in design thinking through his training as an Apple Sales Trainer.
He was also considered 40 under 40 by Exame magazine in Portugal in 2014.
Specialized in marketing, branding, sales and facilitation with a particular focus on having led all business development of the companies he was responsible for and taking them always into new markets, revenue streams and objectives.
In 2013 he became Partner, Strategic Ideator and co-created the Ideators methodology at TORKE CC taking ever since co-creation thinking to people and organizations who want to solve challenges and problems around the world with more than 250 workshops in 14 different countries in 4 continents. During this period he lived in São Paulo in 2015 and 2016.
This means having participated, coordinated and led - from a Strategic Planning point of view - hundreds of projects where identifying, mapping and understanding stake-holders was crucial to then analyze them to generate efficient and objective-driven co-creation sessions that could last several days or roll-out to projects with many months of consecutive co-creation workshops.
He’s non-executive director and on the advisory board at IES-Social Business School.
In 2014 and 2017 he celebrates his two best co-creation projects so far: the arrival of his daughter and son.
He lived between São Paulo and Lisboa – also due to his food-tech business Savage by Olivier a delivery-ghost restaurant.
He was invited and acts as a non-executive founder for ADYANT Consultants, a boutique branding agency that develops strong strategic projects for brands seeking a deep movement into the future.
His direct involvement in organizations and companies in such varied sectors as:
Innovation consultancy;
Branding and marketing strategy;
Political and public campaigns;
Social Entrepreneurship;
Food-tech;
Training and Sales.
Has given Rodrigo the capacity to feel comfortable and confident in all industries as a catalyst of new processes and focusing on relationship building.
His role as mentor or presence in advisory boards is also extensive and focused primarily in organizations that seek to change the world in a purposeful and meaningful way.
He’s now focused and leading his new venture, a purposeful networking and business generating company for like-minded organizations and networking individuals called RESTLESS VENTURES with successful ventures in start-ups and facilitating deals in industries such as tourism, medicinal cannabis, beverages, bio-tech, energy, amongst many others.
